We help you build the business.
The Home Shop is a locally-owned, independent brokerage serving the entire Phoenix metro area. We keep the team intentionally tight-knit — enough agents to have real momentum, few enough that your broker still knows what's on your desk this week.
Start the conversation See what we offerIf there's no seat at the table, build your own.
The Home Shop started as a real estate team, founded by Ellie Urquidez — a UK native who got into this business for the same reasons most agents do: to be self-employed, spend more time with the people she loves, and build generational wealth for her family. She was quickly humbled to learn that self-employed means 24/7, not 9-to-5.
Successful almost instantly, Ellie still couldn't find a team that truly lived those values — not just talked about them on Instagram. So if there was no seat at someone else's table, she'd build her own. At seven months pregnant, after a few hours on Canva and more than several logo designs, The Home Shop Real Estate Team was born. Three years under local boutique brokerages brought the same frustration back: no brokerage lived and breathed the values the team was built on. So in April 2026, The Home Shop became a brokerage of its own.
Our mission is to elevate the families of the agents who work with us, while building generational wealth to support their goals. Pretty simple, when you think about it.
And we don't just say it — we live and breathe it. We've watched agents double their business here without missing the bedtimes, ball games, and everyday moments they got into real estate to protect in the first place. That's the whole point. So if you've been waiting for a brokerage that actually feels like this: stop waiting. We built this table so there would be a seat for you. Come pull up a chair.
Three things we refuse to do halfway.
Training & Mentorship
Hands-on mentorship from a designated broker who's still active in the field — not a training portal you're left alone with. Every agent works from our Playbook, a step-by-step guide to building and scaling your business, backed by contract-to-close guidance, live deal support, and coaching that meets you where you are.
Marketing & Tech
A modern CRM and IDX website working for you around the clock, professionally built community pages that generate real local leads, and a brokerage that takes social media seriously — so your marketing looks established from day one.
Culture & Community
A collaborative team where agents share knowledge instead of guarding it. We're rooted in the Valley — the communities we serve are the ones we live in — and we'd rather grow a dozen great careers than collect a hundred licenses.
What's waiting for you on day one.
Direct broker accessQuestions answered in minutes, not ticket queues. Your broker knows your deals by name.
Lead opportunitiesCompany-generated leads from our community pages and online presence, routed to agents who work them.
Transaction supportSystems and guidance from contract to close, so nothing falls through the cracks while you focus on clients.
Marketing that's done for youBranded materials, listing marketing, and a social strategy you can plug into instead of building from scratch.
Local market depthDeep expertise in Queen Creek and communities across the Valley that you can borrow until it's yours.
Room to growNew or experienced, your path here is built around your goals — not a one-size-fits-all production quota.
Competitive splits. No junk fees. No fine print.
We'd rather walk you through the numbers face to face than bury them in an asterisk. Reach out below and we'll set up a confidential, no-pressure conversation about what your business could look like at The Home Shop.
Agents who do well here have a few things in common.
You're coachable — and curious.
New or seasoned, you'd rather ask a question than wing it. You see mentorship as an accelerant, not a critique.
You treat this like a business.
You show up consistently, follow up relentlessly, and understand that leads are opportunities — not guarantees.
You collaborate by default.
You share what's working, celebrate other agents' wins, and know a strong team makes every individual deal stronger.
You care about this market.
The Valley isn't just territory to you — it's home turf you want to know street by street.
Before you reach out.
I'm newly licensed. Is The Home Shop a good fit for me?
Yes — new agents are some of our favorite people to work with. You'll get hands-on mentorship from our designated broker, structured guidance through your first transactions, and a team that remembers exactly what the first year feels like. You won't be handed a login and left to figure it out.
I'm an experienced agent. What changes for me?
Experienced agents join us for the support-to-overhead ratio: real marketing and transaction infrastructure, a broker who's accessible, and a culture that isn't trying to make you one of five hundred. Bring your book of business — we'll help you grow it, not compete with it.
What are the commission splits?
Our splits are competitive and straightforward — no junk fees, no surprise deductions, no fine print. We walk every candidate through the full numbers in a one-on-one conversation, because compensation deserves a real discussion, not a table on a website.
Do you provide leads?
We generate leads through our website, community landing pages, and online presence, and we route opportunities to agents who work them well. That said, we're honest about this: leads supplement a business — they don't replace prospecting, sphere work, and follow-up.
What areas does The Home Shop serve?
We're based in Queen Creek and serve the entire Phoenix metro area. If your business is anywhere in the Valley, you'll fit right in.
Is the conversation confidential?
Completely. We know most agents exploring a move are still active at another brokerage. Reaching out commits you to nothing, and your inquiry stays between us.
We're ready when you're ready.
